Christopher Davou Lawrence is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics, University of Jos. His current work focuses on using different potentials to understand the nuclear structure of the interacting nuclei, nucleon-nucleon (NN) interactions, as well as the sensitivity to different forms of density distributions...
Christopher Davou Lawrence got the NRF-TWAS Doctoral Scholarship and proceeded to the University of the Witwatersrand Johanesburg South Africa, for his PhD, where he worked on the Full Run-II Boosted Heavy Neutrino and Single Leptoquark search in ATLAS. He was among the recipients of the 2025 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics for the ATLAS Collaboration.
His research interest includes:Standard and beyond Standard Model physics, boosted objects, jet substructure, Heavy ion elastic/inelastic collision and phenomenology, radiation physics..
